Delighted that 4 portraits from One Day Young have been acquired by The Shoreditch Trust and permanently installed in The Maternity Services foyer in Pitfield Street Civic hub. Whilst searching for participants for One Day Young i was welcomed to the join the meet the midwifes events at this centre , explain the project and see if anyone wanted to take part. Now these portraits welcome women into the centre, whether they are waiting for an appointment whilst pregnant or visiting a midwife with their baby. Images of respect and empowerment are there to support and reassure in their own journey into motherhood.
