Exciting news! After Gluck will be exhibited in Gender Stories, featuring paintings, photography, film and personal objects spanning centuries. Among the personal objects on display is a linen smock worn by the artist Gluck in 1930s London. What a thrill to have my self-portrait in conversation with this physical object. Thrilled to see my work alongside Grayson Perry, David Hockney, Helen Chadwick, Rene Matic, Catherine Opie, Zanele Muholi, amongst many other art heroes.

The Walker have acquired three works from UnBecoming, including this portrait. The other two will be on show as part of their new acquisitions exhibition, later in June. Can’t wait to get to know this incredible collection, and spend some time in Liverpool.

The Walker Gallery, Liverpool.
